    @OZ-T
All shipments from the group buy have been shipped and you should be receiving your items any day.
Unless you live in Canada, then it takes a month. Right Oz?

Installed and working great. I thought I was done after soldering to the switch, so don't forget the power part! I burned the insulation off of the ac green and white/green wires with the soldering iron. The hardest part for me was positioning those little wires to solder to the switch. They kept wanting to shift. Fun project!

Installing this circuit board in switch housing could Not have been easyier.
    What a great product.

Directions are really good. But i got confused around...pg.9

Correct. You need to hookup the red & white wires to a positive and ground wire that powers when the dashlights are on. The easiest and closest place to do this is using the wires that power the A/C switch backlights.

I guess what's got me confused is..
Once I shut the 4x4 switch back up..
Red&white wires coming out do I cut and solder to switch as pictured..Or do I run to ac area for power.?
    Or both..lol

Technically you could do either....but it would be best to (and the instructions tell you to do the following):

    1. Cut and solder the to the switch
    2. Solder the now loose ends of the wires to the AC area for power
    3. Add the molex pins on your newly soldered wires into the 4x4 connector.

Doing this will allow you to plug in & unplug the switch if needed.

So where'd everyone get a 1amp inline fuse?
Lowes and advanced auto only have 5amp.

I think you can get some 1A fuses on ebay or Amazon. Yes, it's a good idea to add an additional fuse....but given that the gauge lights are already protected with a 7.5a fuse in the fuse box it's a little redundant to add another fuse within the same circuit.

That's what I thought also.. but I'm no electrician so I figured I'd ask.
But yea I'm tapping into dash lights so I'll have a fuse there. Did anyone here add a 1amp fuse?

I put the fuse statement in as a disclaimer very few customers have installed one.

    Forgot to mention,
received my light this week in the mail, Install into the switch went perfect, great instructions, fit was spot on. I'm just waiting for warmer weather before splicing into my A/C panel for power
I must say, superb job on the PCB, soldering, and packageing. I love how you made a special "pocket" in the bag for the screw so it does not get lost. I could not have asked for better!

New to this website and just found this thread. Didn't read them all but will this kit work on my 2014 Tacoma? I was on another website that makes the illuminated 4x4 selector switch but they only work up to 2011 models. If your kit will work on mine, how do I order one?
