Has anyone noticed a coating of some sort on their windows?
Almost like a repellent type coating?
    BUT not for rain?

The dealer did a crappy job (no surprise there) with detailing and there was still some residue of what I'm thinking was a sticker on the window so went to clean them today, while at it figured I'll clean all the windows and get a coating of rain repellent on it.

    was using this http://www.invisibleglass.com/Produ...leglass.com/Products/automotive/rainrepellent
    on the outside
then regular invisible glass (no repellent) on the inside windshield, then distilled water and vinegar on all tinted windows (works best and doesn't damage tint) but noticed it almost seemed like a coating of something on the window.

No clue what it is no matter what solution I was using you can see the coating in certain spots and feel it.
Trying to figure out how the hell to get rid of whatever it is, since all 3 of the above didn't really get rid of it that well.

    Do you mean the exterior?

On the windshield, I didn't really notice a film. It felt 'dry'; if that makes any sense.
It didn't bead right until I cleaned it with a EagleOne prep mitt and applied Nanowax.

Or, are you talking about the ghost waterspot/staining it does when it isn't absolutely dry?
