These are various size power tool cases left over after piecing out kits, etc. I will snap some pics tomorrow. We normally price them based on size. Small 1 tool kits for $3 or 2 for $5. Med combo kits $5 or 2 for $8 and large to xl for $10 -$15 ea. I keep my 4 wheeler straps in a med case bungee'd to the front rack and I never get water inside, but there is no seal so it is def possible.

Super happy with the Dakar pack.

You can run them stock for a good progressive pack, recommended for 300 lb over stock.

You can also modify them by pulling a leaf if you run stock weight truck.

You can add the extra leaf if running 600lb over stock.

And you can go custom by adding the extra leaf and pulling the overload. I really liked that option and did that for a while.

I made my truck heavier and have since put the 2nd overload back in. I'm very happy with the pack.

Depending on when you order, you might even get one with the recent redesign with some enhancements. Talk to ARB to find out when they are shipping.

Maybe I have a softer butt that absorbs more...but I genuinely like the ride much better than stock. Seems to absorb much better and daily driving feels great. Then again, I've never had the higher end kings, etc., to compare to. Maybe when these wear out and I have another comparison I'll agree with you both. But for now, I'm a happy camper.

If it wasn't in unnecessary slow-mo 90% of the time, it would only be 45 seconds long.

The slow mo was really annoying. That with the dialog just made it way to dramatic.

Trying to get my years of planning and ideas out of my head and sketchbook and into some CAD drawings!

This is one of my possible ideas for the kitchen set up, it will take up a lot of space and be rather heavy but it has to be...
Talking to my soon to be wife (who lets be honest, dictates what I can and can't spend money on with this project...(kidding.)) she has 3 rules for our overlanding rig.

    1. I want good food... your jetboil does not count.
    2. I want to be warm and comfy in bed (RTT is good with her)
    3. I want to be able to poop and shower... I'm with her on that one!

So here is the working idea for rule #1! Also have some ideas for plumbing and a heated water system... I should start a build log, shouldn't I?

    That looks pretty sweet.

But as someone who has been married for 6 years or so lets be honest. The only reason the wife "thinks" she controls/dictates what money can be spent on is that we just dont want to hear her complain when we do spend money on fun stuff.

Very true! ;) though honestly I am totally kidding, part of why I'm marrying her is because of how support she is, she often buys stuff for me for the truck and the whole reason I have it is because she loved the idea of overlanding so much. The "rules" came up after I asked what I could do to make live easier :p But I DO see what you mean.

Thats cool. I love my wife but sometimes I wish she wants as responsible as she is.

    Congrats on the engagement.

Yes, you should start a build log.

That is a nice design. However, it looks like it will be heavy.

My opinion (take it for what it's worth) is the sink is unnecessary. In our teardrop, I built a pull-out for the stove (similar to yours), which works great. For washing dishes, we just heat some water and pour it in the biggest pot/pan we just used, add soap, clean up. All the sinks I have seen have been too small to be really useful.

Consider a swing-out on your bumper for a work-height table.

Where are you going to mount your refrigerator? I have mine in the truck bed, right where you have your pull-out kitchen. I didn't mount it in the teardrop to 1) save space and 2) keep it with us when we don't have the trailer. I realize this does not apply directly to your setup - just sharing thoughts/ideas.

Poop and shower - very important. A shower tent with a Zodiac Extreme shower and Wagg bags with a bucket or seat solve the poop problem rather nicely.

I hate to use the word glamping, since I think it refers to oversized campers, but we go out in comfort. :)

Here are some examples of what I mentioned. These are double walled and vacuum formed to fit certain tools. You can cut around the inner edge to remover the tool specific portion. I have a single walled case and they more or less have dividers that you can cut out to achieve the same result.IMG_2031.jpg IMG_2032.jpg IMG_2033.jpg IMG_2034.jpg IMG_2035.jpg
