Hey guys new member hear. I'm sure this has been discussed many times. This winter I had my e brake lock up when we had a subzero spell up here in Maine last month or so. When i went to leave that morning the ebrake would not release after "gently" trying to rock it free i needed to tap the drum on the drivers side with a hammer to get it free. Now when ever i set the ebrake (i should say that i do have a standard) it locks up regardless of the temp. Only thing that works is the tapping on the drum. I have some experience with brakes and I'm pretty handy with tools so do you guys think this is a straight forward project. I have access to jacks jack stands and a garage with radiant floors so i feel like I could tackle.

    Go for it.

Tip: Only tear down one side at a time that way if you need a reference you can look at the other side to verify your work.
