Josh and Colby, @outkast @Aw9d , peace, love and chicken grease to your furry friends! I dread the day and understand the bond between man and dog very well. Sometimes in life we have to make tough decisions but no matter how tough we gotta do what's best for those that mean the most to us. I lost my step grandmother today, we weren't close but still a tough day. My furry friends will be much harder to lose.

 

You know we went through it a few months ago and im not sure if ill ever get over Granny dog. My only saving thought is that for the one year I had her, she had the most amazing life. This is how i feel with Buddy the new Sr rescue we adopted. That I can give the dog the most amazing life.

You my friend did that for your dog, i have no doubt.

It's weird but I take a loss of a dog harder than any friends I've ever lost. Even my grandparents weren't as hard to loose as Jack was. (Jack was my frist pitbull). The fluffy bastards grow on you. I still have 5 dogs so it's easier to cope with all of them still around.

 

We got our lab (Jake) when I was 6 and he passed away when I was 19. I grew up with him. It's been over 8 years since we lot him and I still miss him. It really is like losing a brother or a child, you spend years with them and then they're gone.

 

You do sound pretty bad, I can hear it in your key strokes.

Putting my down Buddy down a few months ago was by far the biggest loss ive ever been through. Had him since I was 6, he had a good life though and it was time.

Sorry everybody that is going through that now or has in the past. It's the worst.

 

Anyone have a ski iron for waxing skis/snowboard

 

I don't even own a clothes iron. Lost that in the divorce. What's worse, it was mine to begin with before we got married.
