That's what they're there for. Ill remove the surface rust and paint after Super when the rain clears. I don't foresee myself banging them around for a while. The upcoming trips look to be mellow. Super stoked for Arizona Sheep Bridge on the Verde River next month. Been way too long since I've got a line in the water.

We need a camping fishing local ish trip. My girl got me a nice reel for Christmas and I'm looking in to getting a custom wrapped rod from a friend of a friend.

Come summer (I would say spring but the Sierras look to be running lifts into June with all the snow) ill run you guys up and get on some trout. Brian, custom wrapped rods are the business. Let me know if you need assistance. My uncle is well connected with guys that can make that happen for you. Castaic and Diamond Valley will have good bass and striperr activity this year as well (I'm hoping). I'm going to Cabo in April for some salt fishing if any of you are feeling squirly.

Yes to everything in that. Haven't been fishing in a good while but definitely going to be starting again soon. May be doing a weekend trip with my girl and her dad and brother to the fishing opener or something like that, can't remember what he said, but he's got a boat as well to hit Catalina and stuff like that.
As for Cabo I'd love to go if the dates line up. Got a passport I'm good to go

Trout opener in the Sierras in April. Going to be mighty cold this year. I fished June lake eons ago with my dad for the opener and half the lake was still frozen. Great fishing but cold. As you would reel in the line the water on the line going through the eyes of the pole would freeze up and you would have to dip the pole in the water to be able to keep on reeling in the line.

Those kind of outtings are when I think of quitting my job and becoming a professional catcher because obviously the fishing guys suck. Haha. Rock creek is usually a hot bite like that when using mini jigs tipped with a meal worm.
April is the 25-29. Including airfare I found a spot on the beach with an Infiniti pool looking at the ocean rock formations for 880 total. Its an all inclusive resort. Let me know.

Per person. I'm going solo but perhaps if we had a group we could score a better deal

Hmm I'll talk to my girl. I think she'd be down to go as that's around the time she's graduating (I think) and she wants to do a trip. I'll let you know for sure, sounds like a good time

Shoot me some details if you can either via text or pm

This trip sounds like a blast though, definitely looking in to it whether she can come or not

Yep, decent amount of rain up there. Made some of the roads slippery & loose, nothing too crazy but enough to stop my friend in his tubdra. Had to go back & talk him down a hill then turn it all around
Should've seen me earlier tonight, I even managed to shut Kyle up hahahaha.
    You heading out tomorrow?
