Who has done it? What did you use for paint? What would you do differently? Pics?

I'm looking at doing this with my 09, i was going to use plastidip for ease of prep.

I blacked out alot of my interior plastic.
At first I used plastidip because I have had good luck with my wifes full dipped civic (lasted 2 winters +)
And my wheels, grill, bumper and rear bumper all (plastidipped 2 years +)
But nothing interior lasted with plastidip.
Well other than The o shit bars beside windshield. Thats because it never gets touched.
So I use adhesive promoter and krylon fusion spray cans. Last good so far.:fingerscrossed:

Like Chemdawg, I did some things in black while the rest is covered in 3M carbon fiber wrap. The largest part that is painted is the cup holder on the center console (on the '05 6-speeds it holds three cups). I'd initially wrapped it but it got dinged up so I prepped it and painted it with Fusion as well. It's holding up ok but at some point I'm probably going to pull out everything I wrapped or painted and have it hydrodipped.

I would just replace them with the oem black pieces. Worth the cost in my opinion.

You can check out my interior pics in my build thread, I used krylon fusion and it's still holding up great.
