Thank you guys! My whole life I've ran my mirrors just off the body. On my way to work today I set them out more like you guys suggested and it's really cool! It's so simple but yet something I've overlooked. It does take some getting used to but it's very effective. And you can still see down the body when you lean into it. Anywho wanted to extend a thank you. It's what this community is about. Helping each other out, networking, sharing ideas.....Now just because I had my mirrors slightly off adjustment does that make me scum unworthy of a driver's license? Lol. Actually I went to the Jason Bourne School of High Performance Driving but they didn't teach proper side view mirror adjustments.

Also put these tie downs in over the weekend. After I put the glass on and tool box I had trouble finding easy tie downs for whatever I haul because the box blocked the cab side ones off. They pop out when needed and push down flat when not being used. Put two in the box too.

 

Hey man got a question. Ive got the ARB compressor too and last time I went up it took forever to inflate the tires using the pump alone and deflate. Pretty sure I know the answer to this but that tank would greatly increase inflation time correct? Wondering if it has enough capacity to fill 4 35'S. Also is there some sort of speedy deflation device that you can screw onto the tire stems?

 

Arb makes a rapid tire deflator , and some companies make ones were you set your desired psi and the tire will automatically stop once that number is reached

 

I have both Staun style deflators and the arb deflator and both have their uses IMO. If you have a set PSI you always use when you go wheeling or whatever the Staun style is great. You set them ahead of time, then when time to wheel you screw them on and let them deflate to the desired pressure. If set properly they will stop at whatever you set them to. This is great especially on reallly cold days when you don't want to be outside fucking with manually deflating each tire. Problem is they are on the slower side. They deflate every tire at once but over maybe 10 minutes or so. Your other option is the ARB deflator with guage. You screw it on, remove the valve stem in a safe manner, and let air out FAST. I got my 35 from 33psi to 10psi in probably less than 30 seconds last weekend. Then you screw the valve stem back in and that tire is good to go. Great for when temps are better or you want to be very picky on what PSI you set it to.

Yes, the tank will help a lot with inflation time. It will also allow me to seat a bead if it comes off.
I use the ARB Tire deflator and its awesome! Really quick. Screw it on the valve, remove the stem and away you go.

Naw man. From the heart.....even though I built my full LT turbo Taco pretty much by my self the mirrors were a thing of great mystery.....lol.

 

Supposed to snow for the next 4 days, so I took it out in the sun while I could.

Fab up my new air intake pipe. Very little differance in noise level vs stock ( starting to crack at throttle body ) air pipe

 

I put new wheels on and drive to Montana for work
