Unidentified intake/sucking sound

    Manual transmission
    In neutral, hit gas pedal, sucking sound (almost like a leak) then engine revs
    Happens when rev matching between downshifts as well
    Anyone else have similar experience? Wonder if Auto trans peeps get this phenomenon as well if in neutral
    Dealership was clueless...4 mechanics all under the hood while I hit the gas...scratching their heads...looking for induction leaks...no idea...concluded that its normal
    Will not happen if deliberately slow application of throttle...

    You know how to rev match but you dont know what a throttle body opening and intake sucking in air sounds like?
