I have a 06 trd . nothing but problems since i got it. The rear leans to the left about 1.5 2 inches lower than pass side. Has sky jacker tcr515 leafs skyjacker shocks on rear noticed that there is about 1 inch of homemade shims under leaf that is lower. Leaf looks allot flater than other side..... Is it a shock or a leaf spring issue?trucks all over the road very hard to keep in the lines? Needs a new wheel bearing on front can't find one that is already done ? Either buy the bearing and hub and have them pressed i just want one together so i can take off old put new on any help is greatly taken . oh one more thing p0430 code. I've done new Plugs oil . Is it bad cat or bad cylinder? Misfire help me plz.

The only help I can supply is that a shock will not cause any lean. It dampens the shock of bumps and holes, nothing else.

P0430, try the cheaper route..... 02 sensor first.

As for the lean, all 2nd gens lean.... its called the taco lean and toytec even sells something called a driver side lean spacer.

I've heard maybe a exhaust leak could throw that code? Any idea how to check for misfire? I'm new to newer Tacoma's. I've always owned 85-89 str8 axle trail trucks. Thank you btw

I have the Bamatoy front wheel bearings on my 2006 OR. Basically a "Plug-N-Play" installation.

I think I read on here somewhere that some aftermarket suspensions have side specific springs to counteract the lean. Is it possible that yours does and that whoever installed them didn't know that and has them on the wrong sides?

This should sort out your lean problems (one of the full packs) and maybe some new coilovers. These are kind of the cheaper end of high quality parts. There's a lot of info on this stuff on the site plus calling Toytec directly or emailing them proved helpful to me in the past regarding their products. Suspension's a little easier to suss out than engine stuff at least on paper. Sounds like you're giving your truck an overdue makeover!
