I set some radio stations. That's about it so far.
Is anyone aware of an available protective mask that would cover the cupholder area of the center console? At 30k miles, mine is showing some wear. Gotta think that a replaceable piece of protective vinyl would exist somewhere. My Google skills may not be up to snuff.

I plasti-diped mine, I'm not completely happy with it but it'll do till I find something better.

I'm going to pop mine out some day, sand it, mask it off and paint it. I'm going to try silver, then a loose weave fabric as a mask to spray some black then clear coat. I'm going for a faux carbon fiber look.

Yeah, I know it sounds cheesy but it won't cost much and I like to tinker. If it turns out bad, I'll just repaint it.

couldn't be any worse than the Plasti-dip that I did on mine.

When I do it and it turns out awesome, I'll post some pictures. I think I've done the most damage to mine dragging the vacuum hose across it at the car wash.

I've done plenty of x-acto knife work, but I was sort of hoping that the modern vinyl plotting had been done so it would have perfect circles and straight edges.

I may take a crack at it if it doesn't exist.

I'm pretty sure there must be pre-cut kits for this.

They have those cheesy wood dash kits (other colours too) at https://www.carid.com/toyota-tacoma-dash-kits/

There is a thread on them here: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/what-i-did.39570/

Again, I know you're not looking for one of these wood kits but there has to be a plain silver one that somebody sells.
