    Hey guys,
I'm looking at potentially doing a 4Runner V8 transmission swap using a second gen tacoma 6-speed manual. I'm having trouble finding the trans code for that particular trans and the torque capacity for that 6-speed. Apparently the 4.7L V8 that was used in 4th gen 4Runners makes approx. 330 lb-ft so I need a 4x4 trans that can handle at least that much. Also is the FJ's manual the same as the Taco's from the same years?

For the 1GR-FE engine models, the RA60 6-speed manual transmission used on the 2WD model, and the RA60F 6-speed manual transmission on the 4WD model.

For the Full-time AWD FJ manual, the RA61F manual transmission is a 6-speed manual transmission.

I'm assuming same transfer case, engine/trans coupling size, and driveshaft length for Tacoma and 4Runner given it's the same frame?
