It seems every time I get on TW there is a new thread with someone having a problem with their 3rd gen Tacoma. So before I start wanting one to the point where I'm actually going to do something about it, is it as good as the other 2 gens? When I ask this I'm not looking for opinions, I'm only looking for reliability differences not power or looks. So who here with a 3rd gen likes it? Who hates it?

Oh boy. Had 0 issues with my 1st Gen in 12 years and 1 warranty issue with my turd Gen in the first year so clearly it's a steaming pile of crap.

Any time you're a member of a forum like this and a new vehicle comes out, you'll always see problem threads. If you read into it too much, you'll start to think that the vehicle is a piece of shit.

All new vehicles here problems...all of them.

Colorado/canyon had miswired airbags that forced a temporary stop sale shortly after they went on sale. They also had issues with breaking shift cables, wonky AC issues, low fluids, etc.

Unless you want to wait and buy the last MY vehicle before a refresh(and even then there are still usually problems/TSBs), you're always going to run into these things. That's why you have a warranty

I've had a ton of issues. If I could trade or sell without losing 5 or 6 grand I would probably do it.

I think most people here expect that from gm. However I'm only looking to find the percentage of people who have had problems and those who haven't
