It took me a couple of months to get mine. Happy now, but I was starting to wonder about moving on right before it finally happened.

I've had a couple tanks now getting right at 20 mpg.. I can hit 21-22 on trips but ends up settling at 20 over the tank. I'm consistently getting 19+ on the highway, which is better than the 17.5 k always got on the 2nd gens. I've noticed this engine really does not like being cold. I'm betting on hitting 25 mpg per tank with warmer temps and summer blend gas

I'm gonna guess tire choice will make a huge difference in what people are getting. I went with the toyo open country at2s 275/70s becuase they are an inch taller than stock, and lighter than the trd off-road tires

    What's everyone doing for mudflaps?

I've noticed with the littlest bit of snow or much, the wider tires are just caking the side of the truck. Worried about chips from gravel now

I have mudflaps and the sides of my truck are caked with the toyota ones. The FX Pros really do stick out too much. Oh well.

So far no rock chips, but the sides are covered in dirt and mud because of the nasty weather. I think the crap getting slung off the tires is probably going around corners, not so much as driving straight.

How do you like these tires? Are they pretty quiet? Did not realize they are lighter than stock.

They are super quiet. No difference from stock tires really. The off-roads Goodyear's with Kevlar come in at 44 lbs and the toyos are 41 if I remember correctly... And that's jumping from 265/70/16 to 264/70/17s...

The toyos are pretty decent. Not as good in the snow as I would have expected. But that may be also becuase these are wider

So i got a silver SR i4 4x4 and trying to figure out what color would look best and what 265 tire would work best. I like the matte gunmetal but i here theres a glossy gunmetal. I was going to get some OR takeoffs for 825.00 with tires. Oh man damn these forums.
