If anyone has any info or links on how to convert camper from sliding window, to flip up/ contractor windows that would also be great.

I'd first check with your manufacturer of the cap. Check websites anyway. Or - Just bondo it and fix yourself. hard to match that cool paint though!

You could also try an RV supply store as well. It obviously won't be color matched, but they sell weather stripping and trim pieces that fit RV camper trailers that might fit.

    All good tips, thanks.

Does anyone have any diy info on converting sliding windows to flip up "contractor" style windows?

My girlfriend and I are going on a month long truck camping vacation sometime this year, The truck bed will be our Cabin and some big open windows would be awesome.

You'd have to check with the manufacturer of your topper, but be prepared for sticker shock if you want a glass window. Odds are that it will likely be more cost effective to buy a new topper:

I'm in the process of adding windows to a shell I'll be buying this afternoon. Pulled the sliding windows out from my old brahma shell to prep.

I don't think there's a simple solution to turn a sliding window into a windoor. The windows install with two aluminum channel pieces that screw together and sandwich the fiberglass along the edge of the window.

I'm gonna keep brainstorming, but I'm not sure it's doable.
