Everyone has their preference. So this is not necessarily the best for everyone. I listen to just about all genres. You might completely disagree and I get that. I was in the music industry for awhile and have some background in mixing. I was at first simi disappointed in the sound system, but now I love it. Here are a few tips...

1.Bluetooth is the most convenient, yet the quality is garbage, once you a/b the aux and USB in, you'll see what I mean.

    2. Auxiliary is good, but USB via iPod/iPhone is the best option. Why? Because the USB to lighting cable has a lot more capacity for info to pass through it and therefore higher quality sound.

    3. There is a ton of power in the JBL system. Almost too much for the truck and material used. So here are some things to try weather you are AUX, USB or even Bluetooth... it will very from devices, to input, so this is not an end all perfect EQ for the 3rd Gen.

    > I know it sounds crazy, but turn that bass knob down, like 1/4! Turn the treble up and the mid down a smig.

    >use the EQ options on your phone also

If you listen via Spotify and also use Apple, copy this and see what you think!

I don't have a pic, but I run my JBL on all inputs with 2nd from the top treble, mid at mid, and 2nd from the top bass... I think it sounds pretty good!

Treble is maxed, Mid is two from Center and Bass is about the same as the Mids just a step or two below
