Preferably north dallas/plano area? Looking for somewhere that does good work and won't charge a lot.

Was thinking of just taking it to toyota of plano, but didn't want to be ripped off..

Just general servicing/installing a few parts in the future. I'd do them myself but I am stuck with a very cramped apartment parking lot and don't have the time to deal with it.

    Thanks!

    Sport City sucks.
    Tandem Auto rocks.
Atkinson Toyota South Dallas is great too, but I have a personal connection there; I'm biased.

My grandpa has a shop off of Merrell rd near Gas Monkey, he charges pretty cheap and doesn't lie to you about stuff that doesn't need to be done if you need service, or if you need general help installing stuff

I know that our service department is rated number 5 in the entire US, and we're on the east side of DFW.

One of the coolest, up to date shops out there. Feel free to swing by and see our work if you have a mind to.

    Toyota of Rockwall

Shoot me a PM if I might be able to help with anything.

avoid Toyota of Richardson. Toyota of Dallas has been good time so far. haven't been to the Plano dealership since before I bought the truck.

x2 on Toyota of Dallas surprisingly for a super store have been great on my service visits and no issues when getting TSB updates for the truck. For everything else regarding mods such a suspension, bumpers, CMC's, and gears I always take my truck to TandemAuto. A little bit of a treck they are located out in Fort Worth but worth every cent Pablo and Brandon are awesome with great rates and knowledge on everything Toyota and Lexus. They also do stellar alignments I've never had a truck on 33's drive so straight! IMG_8077.jpg

I second Tandem. They are awesome and they stand behind their work.

Toyota of Plano sales are horrific, won't go back for that. But service I haven't had any issues with yet (it's still free, otherwise I'll be doing basic stuff myself or using Tandem if at all possible.

I live in FW. Texas Toyota of Grapevine were horrible for sales and service. Happier with Freeman Toyota in Hurst.

I bought mine at Freeman. Only been since for my 10k service and about to do my 20k there next week. I have no complaints. I had a 7am appointment and was gone by 745am. They did everything they said they were going to and the people were nice.

I made a cluster-f of a purchase. Requested order quote from Freeman through email. They didn't respond same day, so went to Grapevine and ordered and put deposit on the spot. Freeman got back to me next with 2k less price, so I went back to Grapevine and had price matched after 30 minute argument. When the truck came, they tried to keep adding to the number, but I stuck to it. For financing, the guy initially brought me 8.75% APR, which was ridiculous. Ended up buying at 2.6%, but with a bunch of added on crap. Canceled that added crap soon after purchase.

Took it to Grapevine for 5k. The service advisor was sarcastic the entire time, they took forever, and they scratched the truck. Took it to Freeman for TSB, 10k and bad battery, and happy every time.

The service at Toyota of McKinney was pretty bad. Be prepared to wait around for hours on end.

One time I arrived with my truck for a job that they said would take 2 hours. After 4 hours of sitting there at the dealership, they showed up and told me they will have to work on it another day. They offered me a loaner care but then went on to explain that out of 85 total loaner cars there is literally only 1 left (how behind are these assholes with their services?). They then explained to me that the 1 car they do have hasn't been cleaned but I could wait for cleaning services if I want to wait for 3 other cars to be cleaned first. By this point I had already sat there waiting for my truck like a chump for the last 4.5 hours. I said "I'll take the car without cleaning". Big mistake. It looked like a family had been living in it for a week. I kid you not it was filthy inside and smelled of B.O.. The assistant also was kind enough to explain to me that if I were to ding the car or get any scratches I'm liable, which made me very paranoid. Oh and did I mention, it has major hail damage?

Anyway, that's just 1 story of many I have from dealing with these buffoons for 2 weeks. Their parts department is also incompetent. I don't know how many times I called ahead and asked if they have a part, they said "yep, got it right here", I drive over and they don't have shit.

I regret buying my truck there. Stay away from Pat Lobb Toyota of McKinney.

Totally agree. The sales team at Plano were scumbags. I explained to them right away I'm just looking they then tried to shove a truck down my throat. I told them that I said I won't be buying today and I definitely need to speak to my wife first anyway. They then laughed and asked me why she needs to know. Fuck those guys.
