Hi guys , I did a search for brake pads and rotors but the only thing that came up was from 2008 and products have changed since then.

I'm looking for good pads and rotors that will last, maybe drilled or slotted rotors. There are different kinds of coatings on the rotors now, I just don't know what to get.

EBC pads and rotors work well for me, I recently swapped to stop tech and they are even better after you bed them in

If you want pads and rotors that are going to last, just buy the OEM pads and rotors again.

I have worked on Toyota trucks for 12 years and I have experimented with many different brands and rotors, I had hopes for Mountain and Brembo (mexican brembo OE replacement) with no luck.

Only true Toyota rotors last on these trucks, but its also crucial to adjust the rear brakes and avoid holding the brake pedal down after a hard stop.

If you have to go aftermarket go Hawk pads and Powerslot rotors, but I'm a strong advocate for OEM brakes.

Tunrda owners have the biggest rotor headaches :D

I used to run those as well.... they worked very good, but then i faded 2 sets and had to toss em.
If your not too hard on em, this combo is a great choice

I use the cross-drilled and slotted exclusively on all my Toyota and have never had a problem. I like to Wagner perfect stop semi metallic pads on these cross-drilled and slotted rotors. i have them on my wife's corolla as well and that little car can stop really well now. best prices and lifetime warranty on cross-drilled and slotted.

Brembo blanks and hawk LTC pads are a good option that won't break the bank - if you choose not to go with OEM.
