So I'll do my best on my 1st ever build thread, feel free to ask questions bs etc.
So I've owned about 35 rigs in 19 years of driving.
So a little back story on this one. My buddy Big Nate bought this truck in stock form from the original owner who had rolled it up on the passenger side and got a dui.
He put on a new roof skin and doors then painted it & put on the flatbed, then used it to death as a hunting truck for 3 or for years. I always loved the truck for some reason. And one day he mentioned it was on craigslist and I told him to just bring it over & we would figure out the price.
The 3 Slow had a completely dead cylinder so the 3.4 swap was gonna be sooner then I though.
I also came with front & rear 4.88 diffs with an ARB in the front. Man o man I wish I had taken more pics.
I already had a 3.4 that I was gonna swap into another truck but as this on was a manual and had a/c I sold the other one.
So I'm super OCD and did tons of research and started spending money.
Yanked the 3 slow, while it was out I installed a ball joint lift and the front & rear diffs,
Finally got all the motor swap parts or at least thought I did. Took the donor motor apart and bam cracked head and warped block. Dang price just went up. Bought a complete long block & dressed it out myself, so it wasn't long and it wouldn't fire off. Low and behold they forgot to wire it for a manual truck. But they made it rite in short order.
Finally got it to run but it had this terrible low end stumble so after learning how to Ohm meter just about every senor on the truck and trying a new Iac I towed it to the guys that did the wiring and said figure to out no matter the cost lol.
Couple weeks later come to find out I had put the timing belt on one tooth off my ohh my.
Anyways then we were off on the it runs great for 500 miles boom shaking & sputtering etc.
Coil pack ok, were off 500 miles again ok the other 2 packs, shit still doing it. So I ripped the intake off while it was still hot and bam bad injector.
So since then we have a few thousand miles of it purring like a kitten and love it.
I have also as 63 chevy rears and man what a world of difference.
So here are the Current specs and future wish list. And pics.
92 SR5 Extra Cab Full power windows working A/C
    97 T100 3.4 Full rebuild. Oem intake tube w k&n since pic.
    Flatbed
    Lots o lights
    Manual hub conversion
Moved hitch up against flatbed for more clearance
Chevy 63's with Sky offroad mounts. 3 plus overload.
285 Hankook Mt's, 2nd gen Offroad wheels, 1" bolt on spacers.
    4.88 Gears, ARB front
    receiver mounted m8000

    Wishlist.
Rear shock relocate on top of axle tipped in
    Sliders
Custom bumper or ARB bull bar, have always loved the look of them plus they offer more deer protection the a small tube bumper will.
    Rear ARB locker.
I like the IFS but It's so worn out and out of wack I will probally SAS it and that will be extra expensive because SAS, regear the axle and ARB again all at the same time. And then I'll wish I'd just done 5.29's & 37's all at the same time. So well see what 2017 brings.
Bed rack for CVT, gas etc

I really want to do the Rubicon but Idk if funds and time will allow this year.

Man what a classic you have there. I've always wanted an older yota with a flat bed that was SAS d. I may just have to do some searching on CL

    Hey thanks.
We don't usually have rust issues out here to bad.
Made a deal for an 83 axle so now need a welder.

Ya see on the East coast rust is killer out here not to mention the absolutely terrible chemical/salt solution they put on the roads here eats frames for breakfast, lunch, and dinner haha so finding older yotas that are still some what cherry is a real challenge especially for a decent price. I daily drive my 11 and moderately wheel it but it's my only ride at the moment so I'd love to find an older P/U and SAS it and lock it basically make a wicked trial rig. Anyways congrats on a wicked awesome rig

Thanks its become a real money pit lol. Should be pretty cool tho.
Looking more and more like 35s should of been planned but I'm trying to keep it as lo as possible. I want it to fit in a toy hauler or enclosed that I build into a camper.
Here is a more recent pic w the summer 33s.

What size rims are those? I've got 35x12.5x15 tires that rub all to hell on my truck, but they are brand new so I don't want to replace them(previous owner put them on). Mastercraft Mud.

    In what pics?
I have 285s on 2nd gen trd wheels. Silver.
And 33x12.50s on 15x8s Black wheels. But there sold.
It you wanna drop down in size I still have the 285 on the silver wheels. And a set of 1" spacers.
    There about 65%.
I could add some cash if you wanna do a trade deal.

Oh, the second gen wheels are 16" aren't they? I'm definitely looking to drop to 34" or less, but kinda like my current rims, just want a smaller tire.
