its good that you added a fire extingusher, now go find one with a metal head and an actual pull pin. The plastic heads are easily knocked off, and the plastic pull pins break off easily as well. leading to accidental discharge. (ask my Matco tool guy, yes there is a story there)

Also, mount it with double metal band mounting and even possibly horizontal. riding in an upright position the media compacts, and doesn't exit well. you need to regularly pull the bottle and shake or turn upside down and tap with rubber mallet to keep media loose. Horizontal it still packs but when you pick it out of the mount and hold upright it will disrupt enough to be useful. The metal mounting keeps the extinguisher in place in harsh movement environments. ( a hard bump can break the plastic mount) imagine that 2.5 pound missile coming thru the rear window in a hard frontal impact.

Watch when the fire extinguisher companies come to service between recharge dates, they will have a rubber mallet with them, pull the extinguisher and turn upside down and smack with mallet. ( info above applies to dry chem fire extinguishers )

I can rotate the mounting bracket upward, that will make all that stuff set parallel to the ground. Which I probably will do down the road when I place a tent in that general area under all that stuff. This was a quick simple install to make sure things fit the way I wanted it too. Thanks for the heads up.

3.4l guys, if you have been loosing coolant and haven't figured out where, look here.
    IMG_5728.jpg
I slowly loose coolant, not a lot but the reservoir drops from line over a few weeks/months. was thinking maybe head gasket wasn't sealing well after 2 years, could occasionally smell coolant with rear gate window open (4Runner) going down the road.
Never smell it in the exhaust, nor was there ever any excessive steam.
It is dripping from heater valve onto exhaust cross over behind engine. Which is why it was having only occasional smell.
