My grill, the big tote that has all my camping gear, 2 coolers, small tool box, and the propane tank for the grill. The big tote is 39" long, 2' wide, and 2' tall..... that takes up most of my room.

 

Without that hitchmount carrier blocking your tag, you can get your speed camera ticket too this time.

There are a couple that got grandfathered in. I got a ticket from one at one point. Here's the deal though, and I learned this after paying it, you can just throw it away or burn it. They can do absolutely nothing about it. There aren't any points added to your record, the company that runs it (that's right it is a contractor and not the state) might call you trying to collect but they have no jurisdiction. There's zero due process involved in those tickets. It's absolutely ridiculous.

 

I never paid mine. I usually just put my hitch in so it flips my license plate up.

This is good to know. I did that anyway but not knowing what would actually happen. Haha

 

Can anyone here recommend a good invertor/compressor?

I want the luxury of 110 and the ability to air up/down tires and other things. I might be searching for Unobtanium lol

viair 88p is a great compressor for the price. Runs 12V DC though. That's the one i have.

 

I think I saw that brand at Lowe's last time I was there for work. Maybe a different model, don't remember seeing one with an accessory outlet and light.

I want a compressor and inverter in one unit. I'd have to run off battery since I don't have a fancy truck with an outlet in the bed lol

 

A dual unit won't be good at either function. Compromise makes both things suck. Buy two pieces and be happy.

 

A cheap way to hang a hammock is with trees.. Also I'm willing to let someone hang one side to my roof rack since it looks like we'll be in a big clearing.

 

I've thought about that too. Used to have one like what I'm looking for, but it was old (made in the late 80's-early 90's) that dad gave me. It was no super star at either function.

Figured the last 20 years had progressed these a bit.

 

Liking my CO2 set up very much. Coke guy keeps sneaking me filled tanks. 4 spares sitting in waiting now.

Never used the AC outlet in the bed yet.
