have a 98 Tacoma base model,2.4 standard transmission. had a po171 code forever and trying to narrow it down. I have a scan tool so I can see the live data. the stft is high and so is ltft. fuel pressure when running is 42# but the strange thing is there is no fuel pressure when the key is on but the engine is off. new filter new pressure regulator, had injectors cleaned at pep boys. then someone said it could be the coolant temp sensor so I got a new one and the fuel trim seems to be better not sure yet but I am now getting a po130 and po133 code and the truck will barely run. it jumps and bucks when trying to go down the road, don't know what to do now.
    anybody with any ideas

Did you test the o2 sensor? Vacuum leaks? What are you trims at different loads, idle, partial throttle, WOT? How does it run at these loads?

put the old temp sensor back in it or make sure its hooked up properly. then i'd be looking for a vacuum leak..

thanks for the fast reply, I have looked and cannot find any vacuum leaks, I am going to take o2 sensor off in the morning and see if it is clogged up or looked ok, don't have time to test it tomorrow. I broke the old coolant temp sensor when I took it off to replace it the boot between the maf and throttle look good. the stft before I replaced the temp sensor was ok at idle (close to 0)very high at partial throttle (19.5)and back down to ok at wot.(+or minus 5) and ltft would jump all over the dial from +15 to +39
