Wasn't going to update till I had more done, but whatever. Panhard mount on the axle is done. Added a couple of speed hole and some weep holes so when water and mud get it, it can also get out. Also started to finish the steering but am already reconsidering how I'm doing it. I'll sleep on this one.

Steering knuckles are done. Had to pre-heat to 300*, weld, and then wrap in a welding blanket for a slow cool down.

Axle is back under the truck and shouldn't have to come out again. Next up is to tack in the new upper link mount to the axle and cycle the suspension to make sure everything will clear and once that is done, the mount can be welded in and the front will be ready for Coilovers.

Okay, it looks badass as always, but I have to ask, Todd: Looking at where the tie rod ends ended up, why not have just mounted the tie rod in the factory location and mounted the drag link to the high-steering arm? This is an honest question; I'm not bagging on ya or anything.

Clearance issues with the bolt heads and nuts coming into contact with the tie rod, if that makes sense. Just imagine where the tie rod would be and then imagine the bolt holding the drag link on.... there would not be any room to thread on a nut.

Ah, okay, that makes sense. I wasn't really thinking about the amount of room you'd need for the overtravel and everything. I knew there was a method to yer madness, I was just curious what it was.

haha yea man, it's tight under there so everything is very carefully placed. I will add though that I highly prefer the double shear mounting it is in now than the single shear that it would be if I were to do it the way you mentioned. There's a lot of give and take when it comes to these linked suspensions and getting them low and tight.
