    what does it do and is it helpful i have a 1996 tacoma 2,7 will it work on my truck

    It's a neat gadget....

    I think the best thing about it - When your check engine light comes on, the Scangauge will pull the trouble codes so you don't have to go to the dealer and/or drive to the auto store.

    It's got a lot of data that you can see that doesn't come on your dash gauges.

    It's neat.....and well worth having one (I think anyway).
