    a bunch of new/used parts....and some skids.
Hey all! Haven't checked in for a while. Been doing a decent amount of travel and moving parents around the country.

My truck has taken a beating and it's time for some new parts!

I'm putting in a new brake master cylinder and a set of used UCA's.

Anyone have any experience and time to help a broseph out? I'll pay back with food, cookies and a few brewskies.

Hi new to the area and I'm looking to but new or lightly used uca's for a 2nd Gen tacoma. shop wants 300 per I think I could buy adjustable tube one for that. So if you have some take offs you are looking to unload it would be much appreciated. I'm in the Barre area but am willing to drive

I appreciate it but I picked up a pair on eBay for cheap. The garage wanted to charge 300 per uca just for the part. Found some one to give me a hand to install them too and they have a heated garage so win win

I will be up in the Okemo area from the 5th-10th of february with some family visiting me from argentina who wanted to go ski.

if any other local members will be in the area that either wanna hit the slopes or maybe go run a trail or two in the trucks? maybe a place where we can legally plink around also??

    Welcome to Vermont!
sounds like a great getaway. I'm hoping we get some snow for you....and all of us.
Okemo has some good skiing. something for everyone.

I'm form the northern part of the state, with that said I don't know any trails in that area.
I'll check my schedule to see if I can stop in for a visit to Okemo.

    Hey Vermonters....
    Pretty quite here!
    Hope everyone's well.
Has anyone done the new vt inspection?
I had a guy at work say they need to take pictures of tires size markings and underneath the vehicle. Not that he had been thru it just hearsay.
Of course I have 2 sets of 265/75/16s and they are not a factory size or match the label on door tag.
Pretty weird weather, winter coat one day t shirt the day after.
My cat caught a bat in our house! A first for me we had never had a bat inside?

    Anyone here????

So glad I don't have to get inspected in VT I would have the same problem as you.

The weather has been pretty crazy.

    Cool thanks for the info!
That's what I understood also crap that fails. I do think they scan or photo the bar code and dash numbers maybe reg and insurance cards also.

Cold this am dam! My clutch peddle was sluggish my whole 50 mile round trip for ot at work.
Maybe inspection won't be much different.

I'd appreciate it I'm hoping it's not much different other than the tablet and scanning tags etc.
I'm pretty impressed with the cat catching it. I'd think they are hard to get but being inside?

    Stay warm!!

I talked to someone about this last week, what I was told is that they use the camera to scan your VIN and Plate. Also if they indicate that anything causes your vehicle to fail the inspection then they take a picture and write a note. This is so you don't just drive down the road to the next mechanic for an inspection without fixing whatever failed. Other than the OBDII, which triggers an automatic fail if you have any warning lights, whether you pass or fail is ultimately the discretion of the mechanic.

This is what I was thinking also.
I saw the checklist they are supposed to follow, it'd be hours to get thru it.
Of course I'm pretty sure most of it was probably unchanged.

    Cool pic!

My guy lets me hang out in the shop pretty sure it's gonna be close to what it has been.
Not that it's unsafe but tire size etc.
    Good luck with the inspection!
    Interested to hear your experience.
    What year is your truck?
