What size rear shocks should I put on 2015 Tacoma?

pull a shock out. Go flex the truck so that the side with the shock missing is fully compressed on the bumpstop. Measure from center hole of the bottom shock mount to the underside of the upper shock mount where the shock goes through.

Subtract 3/4-1 inch to account the thickness of the lower washer and bushing on the upper mount as well as extra bumpstop compression and now you have your MAXIMUM length you can use for a compressed shock. Search around for a shock that has that length or less of a compressed length.

The last thing you want to do is bottom a shock out before hitting bumpstop, thats MUCH worse than using the shock as a limiting strap for droop (so long as you are not in the air constantly)
