Looking for some ideas. Bought a 2001 4wd Tacama with 150,000 miles. The previous owner had the knock sensors replaced with aftermarket sensors about a year ago. It was still throwing a code so her shop replaced them with genuine Toyota sensors. Now I am getting the same code. I don't want to pay to have them replaced again if it wont help.

Any ideas why this issue could be continuing?!

Check the wiring from the knock sensors back to the ECU. The code can be from an open or short.
