I have an 08 TRD sport LB with 73,000. I bought used at 52,000 a year and a half ago (my first taco). I've always noticed that Tacoma's tend to ride (or at least appear to ride) lower in the rear. That's what mine does. I want to upgrade suspension front and back but don't want an overall lift, just to level the truck out. Anyone out there have any suggestions on which way to go? Should I upgrade or just stick with OEM? I don't tow a lot with it but do haul heavy loads in the bed at times (no more than 6-800 lbs). Off road is usually just mud and snow from the back roads here in Michigan, nothing too serious. Thanks!IMAG0724.jpg IMAG0725.jpg

I looked my VIN up online and it said there were no open recalls for it. I saw a thread that said if you have the 4 pack leafs the recall had been done (true?). I'll check that in the AM to make sure.

If you had the recall done the rear would ride high...

Well, it's been done. I check this morning on the web and by checking existing springs.

This is why I never wanted the recall leafs. Your options are an addaleaf, airbags, or new leaf packs.

ur ass squats because the leafpacks are weak AF, and you added a shell.

an upgrade without lift would be bilstein 5100 shocks (set to zero lift up front)........Thats an upgrade and no lift.

now as i read...........u haul 6-800lbs? Id get a new leafpack and just deal with the lift it gives.

hhmm.. how about 5100's all around, set the front at the first setting and AAL+ sumosprings bumpstops for the rear for when you do load up.
