im shopping for a set of flaps just for the sheer amount of forest service roads i drive... tossing gravel every where. i know they are just boring plastic flaps but i would prefer units with more "aftermarket" character. any other brands stand out to you folk?

I've had a few sets of the rally armor on Subarus in the past and they were good, it doesn't look like they make a custom set for the Taco though so you'd have to rig the universal set to work. I guess the Rokblokz really aren't any cheaper, but after having both I prefer the rokblokz myself. They seem to have a little more coverage and are much stiffer. Over time my rally armor kind of bowed back from the wind. Rokblokz are super easy to mount, look pretty sharp, and do exactly what they're supposed to. I bought a set for my 16 Taco and also a set for my dad's 06 (which were quite a bit cheaper) and both look great. Just find some you like and go for it. Mudflaps are a simple mod that can be functional and look decent so they are worth into the long run.

I'll likely go with universal plasticolors in 11x19.

Stiff ones suck offroad. This was the day I decided to ditch the stockers and cut the tail pipe back

For the front wheel wells, where did you guys screw in a third screw (if you did)? I have noticed that with the plasticolor 11x19's my stock tires rub against them when the wheels are turned. Thinking I need to reinforce and secure the interior side of the flap against the wheel well. Thought about screwing in a piece of metal that would extend in and hold the flap against the wheel well but that doesn't sound like a long term solution.
