How's it going first post here. So I installed some Bilstiens 4600 series from a tundra onto my tacoma and the bolt on top in ramming into the liner of the bed. Do I need bigger tires? Do I need to find a way to lift the rear body a bit? Any suggestions

do you have any pics? sounds like the top shock bolt is just too long.

Well the shocks are made for the tundra so that's seems to be the problem. I'll put pics later tonight. Would lift blocks add more clearance for them?

i can't imagine how they would, blocks will just extend the shock out but won't move the shock bolt any. I was thinking if you really want to keep those shocks and you have enough room just trim the excess bolt sticking out past the nut.

Will adding blocks allow more travel in the suspension?

Lift blocks don't increase travel and from the sounds of it with nt fix your problem. I'm guessing you are going to have to replace the shocks with something for the Tacoma but pics would help confirm that.
