I just bolted some baking sheets to the truck. Way cheaper than flaps and I can use them to bake cookies in a pinch.

You got the ones for the fender flares. Look at the description on Amazon for your part number. Looks like you're not the first guy to go down this rabbit hole. Be glad you didn't buy them from Amazon. :)

    • BRAND NEW 2016 TOYOTA TACOMA MUDGUARDS OEM 4PC SET, ONLY FITS TACOMAS WITH FENDER FLARES
    • NOTE: These mudguards do not apply to Tacomas that do not have flares!!!!!
    • If you order them and they do not fit its because you dont have factory flares. You will be responsible for shipping them back!
    • You can alwyas message us with your vin # and we can check if you dont know what fender flares are.

I have the Weathertechs as well, got them via Autozone or Advance via coupon, I forget which.

As many rocks as I hear hitting the fender wells after coming off of gravel roads and getting up to speed on the highway, I consider them a must-have.

I added a set of OEM ones after driving through slush and having the whole gap between the door and rocker packed with slush. I like how the truck looks more without the flaps, but I don't want to cause rust issues without them having an excess of salt and junk filling up the door bottoms.

I purchased a set of vintage looking 4WD decals I'll add once the weather gets better. I do miss the 4WD or 4x4 logos on the older trucks.

Is there an OEM Toyota flap for a vehicle without the fender flare?

Have always removed flaps within the first week, never had any issues with not running em. I get any tiny door dings or knicks taken out once every 3-4 years I'll have a paintless guy hit em all. Usually have 3-4 to take out but these are more than likely door dings and not rock related.

Rokblokz are great and the standard size is plenty unless you are putting Ag tires on your truck. I also have rock sliders with fill plates. That combination is protecting my rocker panel paint from rocks quite well.

Just installed the huskys. They went on with no hassle. Only hitch was the 2 bottom fender bolts on the front guards were stripped from the factory. Put some adhesive caulk I had lying around on them. Should be ok
