    Hello to all Tacoma owners.
    My "05" was one of those, who were in need of a new frame. Seams like once it started to rust, some 3 years ago, the rust got bad quickly. Surprisingly, the out with the old and in with the new, took 3 days. I was given a "16" full size Tundra, while the change over took place. WOW to the Tundra. NICE truck. Hated to take it back.'
    Anyway, the new frame included a lot of components, related to the steering. Seams as through, the steering is SO TIGHT, I am having to make slight steering wheel corrections, when driving straight on the interstate. Don't think I like it that way????? Another couple problems have since occurred. I am having SERIOUS vibrations, from somewhere under the body. Feels like I am driving on the "WAKE UP" side of the road rumble strips. These vibrations occur at 70 - 85mph, interstate. They come and go, sometimes last 10 -40 seconds, and go away after I slow dn. Wife says, just don't drive over 70?????? Good idea......
    The entire tk shakes, feeling it through the floor board, steering wheel, very loud too.
    Have since the new frame, changed the center bearing in the middle of the drive shaft, and the rt front wheel bearings.
    It might be my imagination, but it seams as though, when there is serious cross winds while driving interstate, the noise/vibration is the worst. Driving behind a truck/trailer, at 75, made the noise/vib go away:confused::confused::confused::confused::confused:. On the return trip that night, about 30 miles each way, no problem going in the opposite direction, same speeds?????
    I checked to see that the mud flaps were pinned dn with the the black plastic pins, and the black rubber fill in pcs, covering the frame openings, were pined correctly and completely. Any other PreRunner have this problem??? I failed to mention, this is 5 speed automatic, OD, with 142,000 miles. Also have fiberglass cap on the tk. since I bought the tk.
    Driving me crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!:help::help::crazy:

    OK, moderation is great, but that don't include the damn vibration.
