About to get them for my truck as well. I've used them previously on my Wrangler Unlimited and they were a huge improvement over stock. First stop almost sent me through the windshield lol. You can kind of see them in the pic, but I highly recommend them.

I put them on my truck after I lifted it and put 285's on it. I wanted a little more stopping power for the 285 mud tires. Definitely a better stopping power. Wouldn't say it is a night and day difference. But it is noticeable. I do feel like the money was well spent though. And I would recommend them.

I prefer it over stock, seems /feels more solid if that makes sense. However, I'm not sure the shop that installed it for me followed the break in procedure. I do have a little shudder at higher speed braking. Good luck.

Thats usually not an issue with shops break-in procedure, its most likely a warped/out of balance rotor, if it hasnt been too long id get a new one under warranty.
All breaking in your brakes does is cause a layer of the pad material to inbed into the rotor surface for smoother braking. The only way they could have cause the vibration is if they way over did it and got your brakes very hot then parked it with the hot pad sitting on the rotor.

It is not uncommon to get rotors that have slight vibrations new, and you just need to swap it out.

    I'm happy with mine.
Price is a little more than your basic brakes from the parts store. Wouldn't say I saw a huge difference in stopping. They make very little dust. I'd get them again.
The break in was multiple hard stops like 40 to 5 maybe faster I'd have to look. Then varying stops from different speeds. I avoided using them as much as I could getting out of the city speed limits.

Got these couple months ago and have been great so far with ~ 1000 miles. The initial bite is much better than OEM.

I change the pads on my last truck, but I have never changed out rotors. How hard is it to change out the rotors and pads on a Tacoma?

Also called bedding. There are instructions on the brakepad box. It's pretty simple stuff to get the pads and rotor worn in together gradually.

Thanks. It's probably been too long since I had them installed. It's not really that bad, only very slight. I think I can live with it until it's time to replace them again.

on these brake packages you have to follow a brake in process to seat the pads and rotors so they won't squeak

Installed them one week ago. I had warped (stock) rotors with newish pads.

I've noticed a better bite, and better feel, and of coarse no warped rotors. I'm happy with them, but it's only been a week.

just put some on my 03 DC but I've only put about 300+ miles on it since they were put on, but I feel an improvement from stock for sure.
