In what aspects did you like about the 2013? I know they updated the interior and many of the mechanical parts in the engine bay, but wasn't sure if you noticed anything in particular?

To me the steering wheel felt better. I think the steering wheel may be a bit thicker. Then again the previous stealership detailed the crap out of the interior making the steering wheel actually a bit slippery.

The 2013 sport version had a much better ride than the 2010. It felt stiffer which gives me good feelings for an OR when I eventually put a lift on it. Coming from a 4 leaf spring pack with an add a leaf making it 5 leaves the 3 leaf pack on the OR was WAY softer than I am used to. Plus the torsion bars on my Ranger are probably cranked all the way up making the front end rather stiff. I don't want a super stiff truck like I have now but didn't want something that didn't have any feeling. (Call me crazy I guess)

I also felt that the space for my legs below the steering wheel seemed to be greater. I am 6' 2" and even with the wheel all the way pulled out and up I just didn't feel comfortable.

I also felt that the dash on the 2010 was way older looking than even my 2003 Ranger. Looked rather cheap. I like the redesign of the dash in the newer makes. (Backup camera is going to take some getting used to.)

That's just what I can think of off the top of my head. Hopefully when I do find a new truck I can do some side by side photos of the Ranger vs Tacoma.

    If you're the expert....

Explain why my 2013 Off Road purchased new off the showroom floor in March 2013 has the 4 leaf TSB pack?
