Recently someone/thing has put some scratches into my rocker panel. It doesn't appear to look deep enough to reach bare metal however still an eye sore to me. How can I repair this?

Is that underneath a door? Either stop putting your boot on the edge of the door frame when you get out or tell people who ride with you to not do it.

You could try the touch up paint from a parts store. Their color matching isn't the best though, the stuff I bought was a much brighter silver than the paint code it was supposed to match.

Scraping boots off before getting into truck, kind of a weird spot? If I recall the paint is thicker down there so a regular sand and repaint might not work, I would have Toyota (or their recommended bodyshop) repair it.

    looks like someones dirty foot.
Often touch up paint doesn't match well until you add the clearcoat

Agree the paint might not match, but what about the texture matching?

IMO youre not going to get it back to stock without hitting up a body shop. Even then, might not match due to extra coating

When I bought my extended warranty I also got an interior/exterior warranty. On the interior/exterior warranty, this would be fixed for no charge. Anything that happens to my seats or carpets my fault or otherwise will also be fixed at no extra cost to me. Luckily this is an area you can negotiate on price. I ended up paying $1160 for 8yrs which I thought was a good deal.

How did that happen? Are you shutting your seatbelt in the door or do you wear one of those chains on your wallet?

I've got a similar scratch on mine. I considered covering it with vinyl or something, but I just left it alone. That area seems like it's a sticker of some sort that is painted over. I doubt that you can do much with touch up paint that will match the texture.

I wonder if you use some touch up paint then figure out what type of coating is used and apply it after the touch up has dried.

No idea. Am extremely careful with this vehicle.
Not even close to wanting to derp the rockers already
