I don't doubt he's that caliber of guy, but I'd be bummed if that was the case.

On a separate note, if he did.. holy fuck! Dedicated to TW members to a degree I can't fathom.

The Ayer is small. Get the next size up. Kukenam or Autana. They are the same size but the Autana has the over hang and can have the annex with the ladder enclosed. I've never used a annex, so I have no experience with that.

I've used both styles. I found the overhang kinda nice as far as privacy, but it got warm compared to the one without. Kukenam allows for better airflow.
    Just my .02.

I think they're all sky versions now too, so the Autana should be an issue with heat.

I'd figure out what size you think you need, and then get the next bigger size.

So what's typical set up and tear down size of the tents?

I'll be doing a 9 day trip to Moab in the spring and just curious how much of my day will be spent closing the tent and re opening also how much stuff can stay in the tent when folded as far as bedding and what not? I'll be setting it up solo as my wife is a shorty

    Check out the build
    I'll drill all your holes.

That doesn't have a double meaning at all.
