Back end clanks and rattles when going over bumps...

    Black tube steps,mud flaps, fluid filmed tonneau cover,jbl speakers heated leather seat covers,bed mat,husky floor liners
    I had a rattle too. I was the tow hitch I put in. Wedged it with a wood shim,no more rattle!

    well mine wasnt the spare tire chain grrrrr,,i'll check my tow hitch...weird big bumps and no noise but sharp tiny bumps and something freaken rattles..

    Mine started this too, ubolts are nice and tight. Suspension maybe? It is a little annoying.

    mine sounds like its coming from the right side rear,,im wondering if the bedliner is slapping the truck somewhere,,i tried grabbing at anything under the truck to see if anything was loose,all seems tight..

    My truck was also making the noise. I checked the spare tire and the chain was coming through one of the holes in the rim. I move the chain back in the rim and the noise went away.

    found my prob,,it was a shock absorber going bad...replaced all quiet back there now

    Can you please elaborate? For me, some noise comes while in neutral going over bumps, and sometimes when I shift and press gas in 1st or 2nd. I don't think it's normal. Sound comes from under me, I'm guessing transmission?

    I have same issue and here is what I found:

    I stayed under the car and told my brother to jump in the bed to imitate a pothole what I found that there is a play from where the drive shaft meets with the pumpkin. Try it out, be looking at the ujoint of the drive shaft and pumpkin and have someone move the back up and down, let me know what you see.
