    Guys-

How do you make a phone call using the 8120? Right now, I have only been able to call using my phone then the bluetooth kicks in. It works awesome with incoming calls though. Overall, the thing is working great for me. I love the navigation and the I-Pod integration rocks.

From the TEL screen there's an address book button that lets you search for people. You have to view the details for that person, then click call. Alternatively you can use the keypad button that lets you just type the number in.

You can access the TEL screen by holding down the NAV button on the unit (I think). There is a way to get to the TEL from the FNC overlay menu too, but I don't think I could describe it clearly. As we've already noted, the UI could use some work! At least each individual function works great!

Resolution on the backup cam is pretty decent. It's composite so it's not going to be anything close to DVD quality, but it's a lot better than the 3.5" screen on those cheapo wireless deals.

I may wait for the generation 2 IPAD then go line out to my amps.

    We'll see!
