FJ Auxiliary Light Switch Install? Diy? Part Numbers?

    After some debate, I think I finally figured out what I wanna do for my light bar switch. The Ch4x4 and Mictuning switches all look cheap and dont match enough to pass as OEM. The solution is an OEM auxiliary driving light switch. Its an OEM part so itll match 100%.

    Said switch -

    Im working on putting together a list of parts to do the install.

    Parts List -

    - AUXILIARY DRIVING LIGHT SWITCH - PT297-35070-AS
    - HOUSING, CONNECTOR, FEMALE - 90980-10933
    - FEMALE TERMINALS - ????


    I need to source female terminals still. Toyota sells repair wires, but Id much rather crimp new connectors on the existing harness to complete the job.

    I believe these are the correct terminals Sumitomo TS / SL Female Terminal 0.5 - 1.25 mm2 ( 20 - 16 AWG ) These terminals are used for the heated mirror switches and I believe they are the same for the light switch plugs

    Can anyone verify these are correct?


    Ill update this thread with more info once I have the correct terminals found and ordered

    I should have mentioned that I explored those as an option as well, but prefer the OEM switch better

    +1 for air on board switches. The lights are the air on board switches and a trac switch is oem. They are identical

    Thanks for the input. I'm set on the oem switch as it'll do what I want the way I want.

    Thanks for the link to the harness. I've seen that while searching. It's a last resort option as it's much rather spend a few bucks on terminals and do the harness myself.

    You are correct on the terminals being the same as the heated mirrors switches. I've picked up that exact switch, just haven't wired it up yet.
