I ended up throwing a set of black wheel covers on. For $59 I can't complain. Once it's time to get tires I'll do a whole set up.

Love the way that came out. Very unique and utilitary / military looking, I dig it

I love the steelies (spares) black looks great on any color, but also love the white and quicksand!

I had some on my wrangler, were silver then black, thought about going white (the Jeep was white) and never ended up doing it before I sold it.

Put whatever black wheels on you like, or whatever black wheels are the cheapest. Because all black wheels look the same at night, all black wheels look the same when you're driving past , all black wheels look the same from 50 feet away.

These are the 17x7.5 Steel FJ's

Here's the 16" for the Spare on the 2016 Taco. Part item #5 is the correct one and the list has all the possible options.

PC is better for durability. Paint works, but guys here at work are telling me to go PC. It's heavier, but more durable, but still chips since it's still a coating.

I actually just obtained a set of FJ Cruiser 17" steelies from a buddy of mine, and after a quick re-paint in black rattle can, they actually don't look too bad at all.

Now it's just a matter of deciding what tires to go with.....a friend has offered to 'gift' me a set of BFG AT TA KO2 in 285/70R17 trim.....now after doing my required reading so far on this forum, it looks hard to fit these tires without rubbing or making suspension mods. So, may just end up purchasing a set of OE sized All Terrain rubber and going from there.

Steelies do seem to look damn good on these trucks though, no lie.

ALSO:: I work at a salvage facility and managed to score 4 new TPMS sensors off a newer Toyota model; they installed in the steel wheels without a hitch. I worked in the tire industry for years as well; you shoudn't have an issue using them so long as you replace the valve seal and washer kit when you install them(assuming you didnt purchase them new). I haven't leak-tested them yet, but this isn't my first time installing TPMS sensors in steel wheels, either.

Hey guys, I bought the 17" FJ steelies off eBay the whole set (4) cost a little over $240 shipped. If anyone wants I'll find the link. Yes the TPMS swaps right over, that was a big thing for me, I don't like to run too far away from the stock options. The wildpeaks are 265/70 on stock suspension. I love the tires they aren't loud and worked great in the last snow storm we had.@sbmon

I can vouch for this. I'm pretty sure I saw your truck outside Lowes in California last weekend. Looks terrific.
