    No, If it's the one pictured above on the grass, that's the same thing I got as an option on my truck above and it's like 6mm brushed aluminum. I was impressed with the quality of it.

    I've heard Toyota uses some sort of coating on the TRD Pro skid... not sure which.

    Regarding holes to drill, you're correct.

    So when I mounted my sliders, I sort of made an improvised drill press using an electric drill, a long 2"x 4" with a couple more as a fulcrum and I just pushed down on the long bar to give me the pressure. Avoids getting hot metal shavings in your face/eyes.

    Do the holes that need to be drilled for the rear skid need to be tapped or is it secured with a nut/plate on the other side? Haven't reached around to see whats possible yet.

    Any one have a suggestion on where to get the exhaust reroute done in South Orange County?
