Is your resevoir swirling now? If so, you're fine. The cap would be to much of an obstruction to allow proper flow through

I really think if the cap tumbled it would still be blocking flow and you wouldn't see much swirling at all in the reservoir. If anything it would get caught in one of the elbows probably.

Post video of current reservoir flow and I'll check it against mine and get back to you.

Glad you found it. If anything, I think you might see a little better performance. With no coolant flow, heat sink would've been worse than it normally is with a supercharger. Wouldn't have hurt anything at all. Coolant doesn't have any contact with any internal parts, it simply flows through the hoses, pump, intercooler, and radiator(heat exchanger).
You'd be surprised the number of times I've seen those plugs left in fuel lines, hydraulic lines, radiators/coolers, and fuel pumps. heck, I've seen people put hoses on that had a dead mouse in them, or spiders in fuel lines really cause problems.
I would have commented earlier, but had to wait for my ban to lift. I'm going for the award for the number of bans for the year for smartass, but I was serious on this one!

I bet anyone who read that, thought I was full of it? I don't need to be the winner, I'm so used to being a loser in TW.:(

I was hoping it wasnt something that blatant.... but in the end, i had to find something and this plug was staring me in the face as soon as i took that hose off. So it was easier than tracing all the hoses with a bore scope like i was dreading.

Sometimes good people let their mouths run too much before they realize it or have outside stressors that fuck up their thinking on forums.
    No sweat man...life happens
    Thank u for the help!
