285/75r16 KO2's, Baja XL 80's on CBI ditch brackets, TRD intake, opticoat pro, clear bra running the bottom sides, morimoto LEDs, all white LEDs inside, mounted shovel and axe above wheel well in the bed, linex'd the bed...
I'm picking up a cement TRD pro in a week. Been waiting since November so really exciting. My last Tacoma was a 2nd gen but it's been a few years.

As soon as I pick it up I want to put new tires on it. Not only because the stock ones are too small and not aggressive at all... But because I want to get the most money out of selling them as well. Going to keep the TRD rims.

I've read some threads that the pro handles 33" tires no problem so I'm either going with that size or potentially 32".

But my big question is what tire to go with? The bfg all terrain is a great and pretty standard go to, but I want something more aggressive. I've been trying to do my research (with limited knowledge) and really like the look and reviews on the ATZ P3. I'd go with the 285/75r16 or the 265/75r16.

The truth is nearly all of my driving will be on road. I dirt bike so when I am off road most of the time it'll be on my bike.

Anyways, I really don't know much about tires and was hoping someone could strongly recommend a set up for me. Really appreciate any feedback!

35 x 12.5 Super Swampers is the way to go!!!

Keep the stockers till they are toast. Enjoy the smoothness and quietness of a new truck for now

You wont be able to fit 33s without rubbing sometimes. The wheel well is no different on the pro vs the regular tacoma.

Thing is I can sell the stock tires for basically the same cost as new all terrains... But only if it's done right away.

I've been reading there's an extra inch of lift and an extra .5" of travel on each wheel so people haven't been experiencing rub.

The ko2 looks pretty rad! How is it on the road? I've been reading a lot of negative things. This tire decision thing isn't easy...

FJ, 4Runner Pro and Tacoma TRD Pro, holy crap, I can't keep up with some of you guys and your $$$ lol. Your pro looks great. Love the BR with those FN wheels. Nice, unique choice!

Just something to keep in mind; the 285/75R16s only come in LT load ratings. Whereas the 265/75R16 can come in a P rating which is a lighter tire and will probably be a more comfortable ride.

As far as which tire brand to go with, KO2s are badass, as are the Goodyear Duratracs. Both pretty aggressive. If I had the $$$ though I think I'd try out the new Nitto Ridge Grappler. One badass looking tire IMO.

Correct, but I was sold on the performance and look of the the KO2s. The 265/70r17 you can get in P rating, BS if you ask me.

Probably the best for all around performance would be General X3 or AT2 especially the price compared to BFG which would be my second choice.

I would agree as far as price and performance, but the KO2's win the looks department hands down.

Yes though I'm a function over fashion kinda guy. Not a mall crawler.

Well the BFG's are just as capable if not more, they just are expensive, so there are better options to save money, but the BFGs don't slouch anywhere, there's a reason they are so popular besides the mall crawlers. And not a mall crawler here bud.
