I'd like to make this NKB trip. I have a Moab trip planned for may but might as well try to go twice. Im not familiar with the trails you guys mentioned. How difficult are they? Do-able with open diffs?

I believe we are at our max for the trip. But @TACO ROCKO can verify. As far as trails, I'm a novice driver with open diffs and they keep saying I'll be fine.

this reminds me if Brett's old stalker and the off-roading ability of a mini or whatever she had. Then someone offering to drag her car over the whole trail.

Edit: I know nothing of these trails before anyone gets upset.

We are indeed at capacity, sir.. However, there is plenty of stuff coming down the pipeline. Aside from upcoming big weekend ventures on Memorial Day, July 4th, and Labor Day, we'll have an exponential amount of little weekend pow wows. Stay tuned.

Too many rigs for campsites, or capping it for certain trails so they dont end up with 75 rigs trying to roll together through a trail.

Permit trails/camps. Only 3 vehicles per permit pulled and a maximum of 3 vehicles per camp site if i remember correctly. My guess is they could only pull 2 permits.

Exactly. I've got two other guys who wanted to roll, but we're looking at coordinating 10 rigs over four days and nearly 1,000 miles. It's a logistical nightmare, and only increases the likelihood of issues.

Oh, I thought you guys were camping in the Devils Kitchen. I HAVE to get there some day soon, just for the kids to explore.

Itinerary has been reworked. The permits for the Canyonland's sites would only accommodate 9 rigs total, and three of those would have to be half a mile away on the 3rd night. Moreover, no fires, no pets, and you can't fly a drone for footage. We're sticking to BLM land, but keeping the convoy to 10 rigs regardless.

Just a feeler, but might head to Utah this weekend of anyone is interested.

Either Moab, or start exploring escalante.

If I did, i would probably roll out Friday night, camp in Moab late that night and go from there. Probably return late Sunday or early Monday to avoid I70 traffic.

It'd be a lay low event, minor wheeling, find some cool hikes... Nothing crazy.

I'll see how the week works out. I have zero interest in the superbowl, so I'm not missing anything. :D

But work starts getting wild and crazy soon, so I want to get out before I am possibly working my arse off every day of the week for a few months... or it'll be plenty unlikely that I can plan for a weekend again for a quick minute.

I wanted to runny Little Muddy Creek last year, but never got around to it. You familiar?
