Nice looking truck, I got the same model, minus all the cool extras. Hows it feel power wise after the weight and lift.

The upsized tires made a power difference. I felt a small loss of power. The lift and the extra weight from armor etc., hasnt really been noticeable.

Thank you, that is exactly want I've been wondering, I knew the tires would make a diffrence but I was worried about skids and armor that it would to much. Glad to know I can move forward with armor, just gotta figure out wich one now.

Bamf shock relocation and 12" kings.

@glorifiedwelder did an awesome job installing the BAMF kit. Made a point of taking time to do everything correctly and in the best way possible. Highly recommended for any fab work needed.

Some would say no, but, im my opinion there are a few short rocky sections that would be difficult in 2wd.

I know a few in my group made it up in 2wd no problem.

    KOs 285,
Thank you for the reply. I need to research a little more and your answer helps me as I am going with a bunch of Rubicon guys that tell me that it is not possible on 2wd.

Got a bed rack and mounted my roof top tent this weekend. Rack was built by TW member @Shmellmopwho Ryan did an awesome job creating exactly what i wanted for my bed rack. Super nice guy and great to do business with. Recommend him for any fab work.
    IMG_1735.jpg IMG_1736.jpg IMG_1738.jpg
I got a little excited when I was mounting it all and forgot to take a photo of the rack without the tent. Sorry Ryan. Ill get a good photo next time I take the tent off.

I appreciate the kind words James. I'm glad you're happy with the rack. The tent looks great on the truck!! Stoked for you and your new setup! Thanks for your support buddy.

Do you happen to have a write-up or more info on this? I see most people going the aftermarket route instead.
    Thanks

Sorry no write up, and no other pictures.

It was a total pain to do it this way. I used the hitch received that i took out of someone else's bumper, with the original plastics from my truck. Basically the hardest way possible.

    Basic process I used:
    Remove my bumper
Disassemble my bumper (end caps, metal support structure, plastic crash absorption thingy, etc)
    Disassemble the donor bumper
Reassemble by bumper with the hitch receiver
Reassemble the donor bumper with my bumper support pieces (so my buddy could still sell his old bumper)
Reinstall my bumper with the newly installed hitch.

Your best bet would be to just find someone who got an aftermarket bumper and buy the old bumper and hitch already assembled, and then just change the end caps from your bumper so that the colors match.
