2007 Tacoma double cab/white

So I have searched these threads and could not find an answer or I am not searching right. I'm looking to buy a used shell for my 2016. I found one but it is coming off a 2007. Mine is a double cab so is the 2007. I'm sure the white may be a little off color. Also, I have a factory tonneau cover and it has pins that come out of the sides of the bed rails so it locks down. If I sell it how do you remove them so I can sell the whole unit.
