A couple weeks back I got two idler pulleys replaced after the bearings went bad and were making a grinding noise. Last week I noticed, what I think is my belt, is squeaking/chirping like a bunch of birds when I accelerate, the moment I let off the gas, it stops. Any ideas? Is it belt tension? It's driving me nuts
    Thanks

Did you replace the belt tensioner pulley, too?

No I replaced just the two idler pulleys with the same Part #, I wouldn't suspect all the pulleys to be crapping on me.

its not a matter of the pulleys but the spring tension of the tensioner itself. age and miles the spring relaxes, if its over extended when installing belt, or allowed to "snap" back unloaded or loaded, that is also detrimental to spring life.

change the tensioner and the belt now, belt is glazed from slipping, you won't keep it quiet for long if just replacing tensioner.
