I look forward to seeing the tire gate! Tried to drop my spare to work under my truck this weekend, and really do not want to have to do that again on some trail somewhere!

I'll try to get one tonight. If you look at the top and bottom of the picture you can see the 4 short pieces of tubing that the bed bolts go thru to secure it.

How did you like that tuner? Did it help with performance and mpg's?

The powerband felt smoother with a quicker throttle response, but that could just be perception. It definetly didn't turn my truck into a rocket ship. Hell, it isn't even fast with the s/c and all the supporting mods.

I didn't see a mpg change but that could be my driving. I kept going bigger and bigger tires and became less aerodynamic and my mileage didn't go down at all. When I added the s/c it went up most of the time, but it's still crappy mileage. So I'm not sure. My truck had kind of been an annomally compared to what I expected to see mileage wise.

I liked it a lot. I just spent more money to get the same thing with tunes for my truck. I liked the guage functions the most. I have an ultra guage on my beater car and the functions/gauges are more refined and easier to use with the bd.

I'm interested in the avid tire rack, if it fits for 2016 tacomas as well. Would also love to meet closer to Oceanside if possible
