Long time Yota fan, new Tacoma!

    2017 Tacoma TRD Offroad, 1970 FJ40, 1988 4Runner
    Hello, new to this forum, and new to a Tacoma. We just picked up a '17 TRD Offroad DCSB two weeks ago and are really enjoying it so far. Already taken it on several trips around the state and to several offroad parks to test things out! It has impressed us so far, especially for a bone stock truck. We plan to do a mild overland build with it. Small lift, MTs, front and rear bumpers, sliders, full skids, storage solutions, RTT, etc. I come from a Toyota family so I've always been a Toyota person, and always will be. Other rigs are a 1970 FJ40 and a 1988 4Runner. Look forward to learning more about these trucks and sharing adventures with other forum members. :)

    Matic, I'm over in Oklahoma City. I do love the Carolinas though.
    Thank you for the compliments! Many hours of my life have been tied up in these things. We really love getting out and adventuring through the state & national parks, but taking the 4Runner on 37s on long journeys wasn't too practical, so that led us to a Tacoma. Also the utility of a truck was needed on our property. We are really going to try and stretch its legs and get out and around the country in it.
    Having done my fair share of heavy offroading in the past, we wanted to get out and really see what it could do (without hurting the body). Took it out to several offroad parks around the state already, and I gotta say that the way crawl control can sort out some tricky terrain is quite impressive. Had some buddies tell me it was cheating, and I'm inclined to agree with them haha!
