Don't own it anymore, but here is my previous ride & what I decided to trade it for; 2010 Tacoma RC 4x4 5 speed, had a Toyotec lift, Demello front bumper, wrap around high clearance armor tech rear bumper and a few other things that I've sold/am in the process of selling. I'm just browsing the forums now, seeing what other people have going on/are building. I traded it (might seem crazy, but bare with me) for a 415 CI LS3 stroker. I have an '03 4runner as a daily & the Taco was giving me nothing but problems. I did everything I could to get rid of those damn driveshaft vibrations, but 3 u joints later (and also after the passenger axle boot at the wheel tore for the 3rd time, which could have been solved by a diff drop), I threw in the towel. The truck was also horrendously under-powered & was having a hell of a time spinning the 285s, I did not enjoy driving the truck at all. In addition to the driveshaft vibrations it had some minor/moderate body damage (messed up hood/hinges, various interior bits broken, etc), all from me beating on it no doubt (did not treat her like a queen). The truck still looked fine & I certainly put a good bit of time & money in it, but it just wasn't for me. The LS3 I got in return for it was built by a reputable shop built to F-body GEN III specs (drilled & tapped for knock sensors, converted to 24x reluctor, came with all sensor/harness extensions, etc). In addition to getting the motor (which was delivered to my door), I got the guy to spent 2k having it broken in/tuned on a dyno where it put down 577hp/564 ft-lbs. Considering comparable LS3s from Mast or Texas Speed sell for $13.5-14.5k & come spec'd as Gen IV motors (less swap friendly IMO & can't run a cable driven throttle body). I figured the deal was fair, especially since I didn't have to do any traveling at all or deal with the headaches the Taco was giving me, even if I did fix the vibs & all the other little quirks the Taco was giving me it still would've been an under-powered truck that wouldn't tow or hold 5th (sometimes even 4th) up moderate grades.IMG_3679.jpg IMG_9814.jpgIMG_0185.jpg

The ls3 was going to go into a '98 240sx, a project that I bought from a guy in South Carolina. It supposedly had a "clean" title (he told me multiple times it "had no accident damage" & "the vehicle is straight & clean"). I had already handed over the cash & tried to put the car back in my name here in PA I found out the vehicle was salvaged in '07 & somehow the brand was scrubbed from the title. Long story short I paid for a vehicle that I will not be able to put in my name, now I'm in a legal dispute with the P/O. I've always been a fan of the 2 door Tahoes & I scored a nice, relatively rust free one for $600 (has a clean title, came with no motor or trans, stock motor let go at 144k & P/O sold the trans). Ls3 will be going into the 'hoe with a 4l80e & an np243 from the same era 2500. I'm a little worried as the motor was spec'd/built to run in a lightweight car down a track/on a course, cam specs are 231/239 0.617 in/0.624 ex, which I realize makes no sense in a vehicle like a Tahoe, but I just plan on running a slightly higher stall converter than I normally would & hope for the best. I just need a truck manifold & accessories & buy some motor mounts (kds performance are the ones I plan on using) & it all should bolt right in.

As far as what I still have for sale, it's mostly all suspension stuff, all new in the box I messaged a mod to see if there was a way to bypass the 50 post limit & throw some ads up, but I'll just have to wait. Sucks cuz I'd love to get rid of this stuff & I don't mind losing some money on the stuff as long as it's gone, plus everything I've got is brand new in their original boxes, it was the stuff I bought & never got around to installing.

Here's a pic of the Tahoe, it might not look like much, but it has way less rust/rot than my '03 4runner. The core support, bumper & the rest are inside, the guy I got it from had it stuffed in a small one car garage.

Agreed, the plan is to get a 9.5 SF 14 bolt out of one of the early 90s light duty 2500s. They sell for $150-300 around here & that way I can keep the stock 6x5.5 bolt pattern.
